Our development plant in Hamburg has a total floor space of 1,160 m² dedicated to developing scalable production processes for the manufacture of recombinant proteins and plasmid DNA. In parallel operations we also develop analytical techniques suitable for the characterisation and quantification of proteins and plasmid DNA as well as product and process-specific impurities.
Following the development stage, the typical procedure is to transfer the production processes to our production plants in Hanover or Bovenau.
Our capacities:
- 2 fermenters each with a capacity of 15 litres
- 3 chromatography lines
- Analytical development
- Quality control in accordance with the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP code)
